Besides the proverbial “butterflies in your stomach” feeling everytime you see him/her, being “in love” is most definitely more of an infatuation type reaction than anything else. True love isn’t something thats instananeous and can’t be measured at first sight. But lets play along. For guys, falling in love would involve the woman having the correct amount of physical attributes necessary for attraction (some more than others). For the ladies, its a more gradual process (although I do know many who have a thing for blue eyes) involving an attachment to an overall assortment of charactersitics like personality and physique.
Here’s a test to find out if you’re in love: Go out and see other people for a few weeks. If you’re still thinking about that special person, as Usher would say it, “you’ve got it bad.”
If you want to know if he/she is in love with you, just ask. The worst that can happen is you’ll get a “no” and you’ll feel so horrible you’ll want to kill yourself. Alas, love hurts.
